Who we are, where do we play.

West Perth golf club is a mixed social club who play on Sunday mornings mostly at Hamersley golf course. The club currently has approximately 50 members however are always prepared to welcome new players into the club.

Whilst the majority of players are aged over 50, the club caters for all ages and handicap ranges. West Perth is affiliated to “Golf Australia” providing members with an official Golf Australia handicap. West Perth is also a participant in MiScore and uses this "App" wherever possible.

The club has a full fixture list for the year which includes 5 weeks of matchplay format, 3 weeks for the club championship as well as a handful of away games including Pinjarra and Ledge Point which normally involve overnight stays for those who like to socialise a bit more.

West Perth also plays matches with Swan Districts Golf Club at various courses.

For a number of years the club has organised golf trips away for members. The Sunshine Coast, Hunter Valley, Melbourne, Phuket and Pattaya (twice) in Thailand as well as Queenstown in New Zealand, Hoi An (Vietnam) Chang Mai (Thailand), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and in 2026 Phnom Penh (Cambodia). Typically between 12 and 20 members have thoroughly enjoyed these trips with many good memories.

In addition, a tour to South West WA has become a regular event held February/March.

Annual fees for West Perth are $125.00 which includes the Golf Australia and MiScore registration component of approximately $65.00. The cost to play at Hamersley on a Sunday is currently $42.00 and a further $5.00 paid to the club which goes toward prizes and other costs.
